The Midwest Rural Energy Council provides a listing of classes offered by the
Wisconsin Farmstead Wiring Program. This service is provided in support of the
State's goals for safe installation of electrical systems and safe usage of

Details:
The class consists of 6 classes, 3 hours long. 100% attendance is mandatory
to pass the class. There is a case study that must be completed outside
of class for a farm rewire project. On the final night there will be a
final exam.
Background:
Wisconsin Public Service
Corporation (WPSC) will require a representative from an electrical
firm to take this class in order to participate in its Farm
Rewiring Program. This requirement will commence in 2004 -- estimated
at this time to be sometime in April-May. Customers of WPSC are eligible
for reimbursement of the tuition for the class if they meet the following
criteria:
1. They either live in WPSC service territory or have an office/shop in
that territory.
2. They sucessfully pass the course.
3. They particpate in rewiring a farm in our territory.
