Title: CD-ROM on Safe Wiring Techniques
Summary
Safe Wiring Techniques is an interactive educational oriented CD-ROM covering the basics of electrical wiring. This program builds on simple concepts and walks the learner through various wiring scenarios from simple residential lighting circuits through complex schematics for a commercial building. A new special section explores wiring issues in dairy barns. It explains stray voltage basics and illustrates various cow contact points. Pop up graphics show proper examples of the special types of equipment needed in wet livestock facilities. This is an excellent program that power providers could provide to schools to promote safety and knowledge of electrical wiring.
